(3rd person plural preterit indicative = falaram - ram = fala + sse/sses/sse/ssemos/sseis/ssem)

(eu) falaram - ram = fala + sse = falasse = (I might speak)

(p) (tu) falaram - ram = fala + sses = falasses = (thou might speak)

(ele, ela, você, o senhor, a senhora, a senhorita) falaram - ram = fala + sse= falasse = (he/she/you might speak)
