SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD (COMPOUND)

(The SUBJUNCTIVE occurs in the DEPENDENT CLAUSE of a sentence)

FUTURE PERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE: NO DEFINITE FORM IN ENGLISH -- Present and Past Subjunctive and Conditional forms are employed to express Future Subjunctive (if I were to break, if I would/should have broken if I may have broken, if I might have broken)

(Future Subjunctive of the helping verb ter (to have) + participle of verb partir = partido)

(eu) tiver partido = (if I were to break, if I would/should have broken, if I may have broken, if I might have broken)

(p) (tu) tiveres partido = (if thou were to break, if thou would have broken, if thou may have broken, if thou might have broken)

(ele, ela, você, o senhor, a senhora, a senhorita) tiver partido = (if he/she/you were to break, if he/she/you would have broken, if he/she/you may have broken, if he/she/you might have broken)

(nós) tivermos partido = (if we were to break, if we would/should have broken, if we may have broken, if we might have broken)

(p) (vós) tiverdes partido = (if ye were to break, if ye would have broken, if ye may have broken, if ye might have broken)

(eles, elas, vocês, os senhores, as senhoras, as senhoritas) tiverem partido = (if they were to break, if they would have broken, if they may have broken, if they might have broken)
